چکیده

Aims. Methyl isocyanate (CH 3 NCO) and glycolonitrile (HOCH 2 CN) are isomers prebiotic molecules that involved in the formation of peptide structures nucleobase adenine, respectively. These two species investigated to study interstellar chemistry cyanides (CN) isocyanates (NCO) gain insight into reservoir molecules. Methods. ALMA observations intermediate-mass Class 0 protostar Serpens SMM1-a ALMA-PILS data low-mass IRAS 16293B used. Spectra analysed with CASSIS line analysis software package order identify characterise Results. CH NCO, HOCH CN, various other detected towards SMM1-a. Data sources used show [CH NCO]/[HNCO] ratio similar all these within ~10%. Conclusions. First results from a VLBA proper motion survey of H2O masers in low-mass YSOs: the Serpens core and RNO 15-FIR

This article reports first results of a long-term observational program aimed to study the earliest evolution of jet/disk systems in low-mass YSOs by means of VLBI observations of the 22.2 GHz water masers. We report here data for the cluster of lowmass YSOs in the Serpens molecular core and for the single object RNO 15-FIR. Towards Serpens SMM1, the most luminous sub-mm source of the Serpens c...

Specific agglutination of Spirillum serpens.

In a previous paper (Pijper et al., 1953) we described our investigations into the nature of the flagellum of Spirillum serpens. In Salmonella somatic, heat-stable or 0 antigens and flagellar, heat-labile or H antigens are recognized and give rise to typical agglutination patterns. H serum causes precipitates on bodies and flagella leading to fortuitous secondary entanglement of flagella, and 0...

Envelope structure of deeply embedded young stellar objects in the Serpens Molecular Cloud.

Aperture-synthesis and single-dish (sub-) millimeter molecular-line and continuum observations reveal in great detail the envelope structure of deeply embedded young stellar objects (SMM 1 = FIRS 1, SMM 2, SMM 3, SMM 4) in the densely star-forming Serpens Molecular Cloud. SMM 1, 3, and 4 show partially resolved (>2" = 800 AU) continuum emission in the beam of the Owens Valley Millimeter Array a...

Prebiotic Evolution of Molecular Assemblies: From Molecules to Ecology

Present life portrays a two-tier phenomenology: molecules compose supramolecular structures, such as cells or organisms, which in turn portray population behaviors, including selection, evolution and ecological dynamics. Prebiotic models have often focused on evolution in populations of self-replicating supramolecules, without explicitly invoking the intermediate molecular-to-supramolecular sta...

The Mid-Infrared Extinction Law in the Ophiuchus, Perseus, and Serpens Molecular Clouds

We compute the mid-infrared extinction law from 3.6−24μm in three molecular clouds: Ophiuchus, Perseus, and Serpens, by combining data from the “Cores to Disks” Spitzer Legacy Science program with deep JHKs imaging. Using a new technique, we are able to calculate the line-of-sight extinction law towards each background star in our fields. With these line-of-sight measurements, we create, for th...
